Hurray! Facebook is finally offering options for notification and posting identity that will make life a bit easier for Page administrators.

Instead of “Manage Pages” under your Account, you will now see “Use Facebook as Your Page.”

This option gives you the flexibility to interact with the other areas of Facebook as a Page (as opposed to yourself/your Personal Profile).

You can also get notifications when fans interact with your page or posts.

Instead of tabs, you can place the navigation menu in the left sidebar and feature photos at the top of your Page.

In Facebook Page mode, you can:

• See activity from the pages you like in your news feed
• “Like” other Pages and feature them on your Page, and
• Make comments as your Page on other Pages.

If you would like to switch back to using your personal profile to make comments, etc. , just click on the “Switch” button by the list of your Pages in the popup window.

SET YOUR DEFAULTS
You can also set defaults for your email notifications and how you post to your page – as yourself or your page.

You can also select which featured pages appear in the left column.

To manage your settings for email and posting preferences, go to Edit Page and Your Settings.

To select which pages appear in Likes, go to Edit Page and Featured.

Getting notified when Fans post to your Page will be a big help to busy Page admins responsible for engaging fans and monitoring content.
